there’s no need to venture far beyond Sydney, for within a one-hour drive there is a wildlife sanctuary that boasts spectacular native flora, fauna and significant Aboriginal significance. The site is home to both many common Australian animals and some of the most threatened and endangered species. Enjoy mixing with kangaroos and emus while you volunteer to help make a difference to this important sanctuary. Volunteer activities vary from season to season but can include planting of native trees and grasses to restoring habitat or wildlife structures and building repair.
